Why was it needed and what did it replace:

The Kaleido-X replaces our CRT monitor wall, which consisted of 30 separate CRT screens, each displaying a single source. With Miranda’s solution, all HD/SD and analog inputs can now be displayed any number of times across the four LCD screens, in individual windows that are fully adjustable in size, positioning and resolution.

We can assign and repeat literally any source anywhere on the display, so that, for example, both our operators and the technical producer can see the same source/s without physically moving desks,’ explains Michel Séguin, Director of Technology at Télé-Québec. ‘And, no matter how large or small each source window is or how many times it is repeated, the image quality is always brilliant - every source can even appear in 1920x1080 HD.
