Slot 5:- CPU-156 + BKDS-2072 (CPU upgrade board) . This includes 4 SDI inputs as standard. CPU upgrade also means switcher can be connected to computer with GUI as you need 2072 card for this also) Also increases snapshot register from 2 to 99 and means you can now do 2 channel DME wipe also (As this card is needed for this)



Slot 6:- BKDS- 2070 (WE THINK) AS IS MARKED MIX19 card BD25 with BKDS-2070 (Enhanced wipe board) + BKDS-2050 (DSK with Boarder / fine key board) NOTE enhanced wipe board gives extra wipes as in the DVS7000 series which including “diamond Dust” wipes, “matrix” wipes and gives user option to create new wipe patterns also with the toolbos



Slot 7:- BKDS-2050 (DSK with Boarder / Fine key board) provides 3rd layer for effects etc in addition to the 2 effects keyers. Includes key generator, mas processing, pattern key, multiple key types, including luminance, linear and clean.



Slot 8:-BKDS-2031 chroma Keyer board

Slot 9:-BKDS-2061 (AUX bus / Processed Key output board) to give 4 AUX outputs and also INCLUDES DEPTH KEY PROFCESSING FEATURE. (NOTE that any signal inputed into mixer (eg any of the 16 video inputs) or generated internally in mixer like still frames, key mattes, frame memory can also be outputted on aux outputs. 4 AUX outputs are given to mixer with this board in SDI format.







Mixer can be used with DME3000 and DME7000 also

The CDH 1811 yellobrik is ideal for converting any SDI video signal (up to 3Gbit/s 1080p60) into a standard HDMI signal for monitoring and display. It allows you to easily connect HDMI displays to SDI equipment.
 
This new yellobrik auto-detects inputs and formats supporting SDI video up to 3Gbit/s, includes balanced or unbalanced line level stereo analog audio outputs, as well AES outputs which can pass through DolbyE.   Two channels of audio from the incoming video signal can be de-embedded and output as digital AES or analog audio, or embedded into the HDMI output.

Multiple wins for DK-Technologies at Seoul Broadcasting System

DK-Technologies is pleased to announce that South Korea’s Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) has purchased seven PT5300 HD-SD VariTime Sync Generators and three PT5211 VariTime Change Over Units. The sale was made in early November by the company’s local distributor, PI International.
 
The units were chosen by SBS, one of four major broadcasters in the country, following a competitive tender and are split between two new HD OB vans and one new HD-capable studio.

Compact SDI to 1394 Video Field Converter Launched

EDIROL have announced the VC-50HD - an innovative portable bidirectional SDI to 1394 video field converter.

The VC-50HD provides bi-directional conversion between SD/HD-SDI to/from DV, HDV as well as 35Mbps and 50Mbps MPEG-2 transport stream (TS). The unit also supports lower bit rates including 8Mbps as well as 2, 9 and 12Mbps when using with SD sources ideal for DVD, web or fixed-point observation applications.

The VC-50HD can be used standalone between video decks and PC/Macs or mounted on the back of the EDIROL F-1 Video Field Recorder for file-based capture from SDI cameras.

The VC-50HD offers flexible monitoring of the signal in the field using the HDMI output connected to an affordable display. Resolution types, MPEG-2 bit-rates, direction and SDI audio channel selection can be controlled with remote software via USB or dipswitches conveniently located on side of the unit.
