French Systems Integrator Preview selects Harris to Equip Four HD OB vans. |

Harris Broadcast Communications has just announced the sale of an end-to-end HD infrastructure solution to French SI Preview for four new HD OB vans to be used at the 2010 African Cup of Nations in Angola in January. The Harris installations include routers, audio and video processors, multiviewers, test and measurement tools and graphics systems. Each of the four vans handles the input of 16 cameras and will be equipped with a 15RU 128x160 HD Platinum¢ router with 64x64 AES audio and redundant cross-points.
Each truck will also contain 28 QVM6800+ Quad multiviewers, Videotek® VTM Series¢ multiformat on-screen monitors, two X85¢ multiple application video/audio processors, Inscriber® TitleOne¢ broadcast and production graphics systems, glue equipment for up-/down-/cross-conversion and CCS Navigator¢ software for control and monitoring of the entire Harris infrastructure solution. |

The CDH 1811 yellobrik is ideal for converting any SDI video signal (up to 3Gbit/s 1080p60) into a standard HDMI signal for monitoring and display. It allows you to easily connect HDMI displays to SDI equipment.
This new yellobrik auto-detects inputs and formats supporting SDI video up to 3Gbit/s, includes balanced or unbalanced line level stereo analog audio outputs, as well AES outputs which can pass through DolbyE. SIS LIVE, Europe’s largest outside broadcast (OB) and uplink company, has awarded a key and exclusive contract for Broadcast Services, including technical equipment and diversified Production & Coverage services for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in India, to South East Asia’s largest broadcast services company, ZOOM Communications Ltd. India. SIS LIVE won the prestigious contract to provide the Production and Coverage Facilities and Services, under the Host Broadcaster Assignment for the XIX Commonwealth Games being held in New Delhi from 3-14 October 2010.
SIS LIVE is contracted to provide the production in High Definition to cover the Games, the first time the event will be produced and transmitted in HD. The multi-million dollar contract involves up to 40 Production Areas and OB kits of various sizes, over 350 HD camera channels, 100 HD long lenses, 115 EVS hard disk recorders, as well as a wide range of specialist Production and Camera equipment.
