Discovery Communications has chosen Jnger Audios LEVEL MAGIC¢ technology to deliver loudness consistency and peak level management across all programs broadcast from its Discovery Networks Latin America/U.S. Hispanic headquarters in Florida.
The broadcaster has installed 15 rack-mounted 8-channel C8086 LEVEL MAGIC modules and 30 C8402 SDI input modules as part of a general technical upgrade of its Miami facility.
Jnger Audios LEVEL MAGIC is a sophisticated adaptive level control algorithm that is designed to adjust the level from any source at any time, with no pumping, breathing or distortion. It is based on a simultaneous combination of an AGC, a Transient Processor for fast changes and a look ahead Peak Limiter for continuous unattended control of any programme material, regardless of its original source. |
