PHILIPS BTS TRIAX CCD-FT LDK 9 STUDIO CAMERA W. CANON PH20x SUPER 6-120mm F:1.4 LENS & VIEWFINDER

This camera was working in a local TV studio before it was sold to me due to HD upgrade. When it arrived to my place I set the internal selector to 'LOCAL' in order to check. When I turned it on, the viewfinder showed adjustment bars and then the camera turned on. The viewfinder shows: a center cross, the number 38 to 41 and a couple of rectangles. Lens indicator illuminate different leds depending of the selectors adjustments and I can see how the iris closes and opens. As I don't have the external controls I was not able to do any further tests, so it has to be sold as is. I accept payments thru PayPal eMail g26432050@prodigy.net.mx

Broadcast Traffic Systems (BTS) will demonstrate its range of open-platform broadcast traffic management software on stand ZR-23 (British pavilion) at CABSAT MENA 2010, Dubai, March 2-4.

"A centrepiece of our exhibit will be the Express downloadable broadcast traffic management system, making its first CABSAT appearance," comments Craig Buckland, Technical Director of BTS. "Express is an entry-level application offering broadcasters an efficient, affordable and scalable means of media-traffic control and supervision. It is based on three modules which together provide programme planning, traffic scheduling, transmission scheduling, as-run scheduling and media management. Customers can select the modules needed to support their current level of business."

Tolo TV, the award-winning Afghan commercial television network, has upgraded its Broadcast Traffic Systems (BTS) traffic management installation. New software and additional modules have been added to the system installed during 2006 at Tolo's headquarters in Kabul.

"We selected BTS traffic management software at IBC2006 after comparing the various available interstitial-management applications," comments Tolo TV CEO Jahid Mohseni. "We were impressed by the look and feel of the browser-based user interface though which Enterprise is controlled. Other key factors in our choice were the option of remote implementation, online training and post-installation support. ATV Jordan chooses BTS Enterprise broadcast scheduling and sales management system

ATV Jordan, has joined the rapidly increasing number of broadcasters using the Broadcast Traffic Systems (BTS) Enterprise scheduling and sales management system. Commencing operation this month at the network's Amman headquarters, BTS Enterprise will be used to manage the playout of programmes as well as ensuring precise placement and transmission of advertisements and programme-related interstitials.

BTS Enterprise was installed by BTS using its Internet-based installation process. Replacing an earlier scheduling device from a third-party source, Enterprise is both easier to operate and provides a wider range of features including tight integration with the technical infrastructure at ATV Jordan.

ERTT ADOPTS FOR-A VIRTUAL STUDIO

FOR-A UK has supplied its digiStorm virtual studio technology and multiviewers to Thomson for installation at the Tunisian national broadcaster, ERTT in Tunis. As a part of a turnkey project by Thomson Grass Valley France SA, the virtual studio has been integrated with a Thomson vision mixer and Shotoku camera position sensors.
 
This digiStorm virtual studio system was configured to meet ERTT’s requirements that included working with the studio’s four cameras, and their associated motion sensors, using a dual-channel virtual set processor and two workstations to provide both programme and preview video of the virtual set for any two of the four cameras at one time. The two workstations run Brainstorm Multimedia’s eStudio 3D Graphics software, making a full ‘eStudio': one creation-and-play workstation and one play-only station. Other major system elements supplied by FOR-A that complete the system comprise a VRP-70HS virtual studio processor complete with chroma keyer, a DSC-100 data router and a tally interface.

Camera Corps Q-Balls track celebrities in the Australian jungle

Camera Corps Q-Ball robotic camera heads are keeping watchful eyes on the latest series of 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here' from Springbrook National Park on Australia's tropical Gold Coast. A total of six Q-Balls were chosen by international broadcast services company Gearhouse Broadcast as part of an 80-camera flyaway production system for the programme's ninth series. Produced by ITV Studios, the programmes are being transmitted in Britain by Granada Television (weekdays) and LWT (weekends) and on TV3 in Ireland. Over 40 hours of live programming are being sourced from 24/7 content captured over several weeks of production.
