Sony have just release new firmware which increases the type of media you can use with their XDCAM EX range of camcorders.
 
This upgrade is easy to download from the Sony website (click here) and applies to the PMW-EX1, PMW-EX3, PMW-EX30, PMW-EX1R and PMW-350.
