The rig has been used with a wide variety of cameras including Red 1, Moviecam SL 35mm, Arri D20, SR3 & 416, Sony & Panasonic ENG cameras and with the lite battery hanger and topstage weight you can even fly pro-sumer mini DV cameras such as the HVX200 etc

MK V Rig
The MK-V Lite sled system is is fully upgradeable to a Nexus or MK-V AR System.
The Lite uses the same electronics as the Evolution and Nexus systems (12v and 24v) using all the standard cables and features inc. SDI.
Dynamic balancing the Lite is easily achieved, no matter which monitor and battery combination you choose.
The Lite was designed for DVC/Digibeta/HD type cameras and the new ARRI 235. The lite is an ideal professional running rig you can use with 16mm, 35mm and HD. With the addition of the Steadyrig battery hanger the lite system is upgraded to a full 35mm camera stabilization system.
Steadyrig Battery Hanger
Weight Shift Adjustment.
By distributing the battery weight outwards (fore & aft) you can increase the inertia thus slowing and stabilizing the pan. Conversely, tucking the batteries close in under the centerpost creates good positioning to conduct a clean, fast whip pan.
Laser Engraved Reference Marks
The slide post is engraved with convenient reference marks. These marks are numerically displayed one inch apart with further increments of tenths of an inch.
Standard Sized Slide Post
The slide post is a standard one and a half inches. This enables you to clamp on a standard sized bracket to mount various accessories as needed. For example; Recorder, Transmitter, Light, Laser, etc.)
Electrics,
Each unit is supplied with a wiring loom from the batteries to a male Lemo plug.
Construction
The Steadyrig TM Battery Hanger is constructed from Aluminum and Delrin and it is fastened with stainless steel screws.

Monitor Arms
The MK-V V2" Telescopic arms are telescopic and have rotateable mounts to allow easy and quick spinning of the monitor for low mode.
THE V2 MK-V / HUMMINGBIRD LCD
The All new V2 MK-V/Hummingbird LCD is the brightest daylight viewable LCD - sun hood not required. This monitor was designed specifically for 'Steadicam' work. (PAL & NTSC - auto switching)
This new V2 monitor has a 6.4" (4:3) diagonal screen and 4:3, 16:9, 2:1 and user aspect ratios as standard. Built in frame lines, centre cross and boarder. Zoom in and out. Flip and reverse scan. And built in heaters for working in sub zero temperatures. Plus PRO compatible connections and built in Tally lights.
THE MK-V Wireless Focus System
The new MK-V Wireless focus system is designed to be a cost effective but professional focus system. The WFS has auto cal and auto anti backlash, programmable end points (within the standard range) and a speed control for super smooth iris and zooms.
The WFS has digital control of Heden, FMG motors.
This system has the speed and performance of the larger digital systems at a fraction of the cost and size.
Marell Video Transmitter
Housed in rugged shock resistant CNC machined aluminum housings with whip and flat antennas provided as standard. Marell Video Link has now been widely accepted as an industry standard and has proven itself time and time again over many years on a huge number of productions.
Comes with Arri, Panavision, Sony & Panasonic cables.
